Numismatrix - Coin collection

Numismatrix is a private vault for collectors and numismatists. Coins, banknotes, bullion, medals: every item in your collection is cataloged, valued and documented — without ever leaving your phone.

WHAT NUMISMATRIX DOES NOT DO

No ads. No trackers. No selling your data: there is nothing to sell, because nothing ever leaves your device. And no subscription — a license bought once is yours for life.

Your collection says what you own, where you bought it and what it is worth. Plenty of people would like to know that. We would not: we never see it.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU

No online account, no server, no sync. Your collection is stored on the device and encrypted at rest with AES-256. The app works offline: at a fair, at an auction house or in front of a bank vault, everything stays available.

Access is protected by a PIN, and by your fingerprint if you enable it. A stealth mode hides every amount in one tap when someone is looking over your shoulder.

Numismatrix requests no sensitive permission: no location, no contacts, no standing access to your photos.

PROGRESS

Seven ranks to climb, from Curious to Numismatic Legend, as your collection grows.

Thirty-six goals to unlock across six families: categories, metals, weights and measures, vault value, historical periods and special badges. Your first gold coin, a one-kilo bar, an ancient coin, a forgery correctly identified — each has its badge. And a few bonus badges stay hidden: finding them is up to you.

DOCUMENT AND PASS ON

- Museum-grade PDF catalog, four items per page, high resolution
- Compact vault inventory with metal value — useful for insurance or estate purposes
- Certificate bundle, two per page, for graded coins
- CSV export

BACK UP WITHOUT DEPENDING ON ANYONE

The .nmx archive format holds your entire vault, photos included. It is encrypted with a password you choose, backed by a recovery code to keep aside. An automatic backup runs every week. Nobody — not even us — can open an archive without your secret.

FREE, PREMIUM, PRO

The free version catalogs up to 99 items, with metal spot prices, ranks and goals, CSV export and encrypted backups. Ad-free as well.

Premium widens the collection, and adds advanced statistics, day/night mode, the museum PDF catalog and record sharing.

Pro opens the collection with no limit, plus sales tracking, the certificate bundle, Crystal mode and a license valid on two devices.

One-time purchase, no subscription, no renewal. You pay once, the app stays yours.

Interface in English and French.

Recent changes:
Bars, medals and exonumia: pick the shape, and enter a length and a width for a rectangular bar instead of a diameter.
New serial number field for banknotes and bars. The app recognises sought-after numbers on its own: radar, repeater, solid, ladder, low number, binary.
Every category now has its own particularities, and a banknote is no longer offered authorities that vanished before paper money existed.
The photo viewer opens without flickering.
Changing a vault category's image now works.
