I love almost everything about using Ocado -it's nigh on perfect. Only one thing spoils it for me (and causes huge stress); so far, with multiple attempts, I've been unable to persuade drivers to follow my delivery instructions. The drivers are unerringly polite, all apologize beautifully, and insist on sharing reasons as to why my requirements are consistently ignored, to the point that the explanation becomes the priority, and the reasonable expectation is that I should just understand.

Brilliant, easy food shopping app. There's several options to choose your shopping from basics to M & S food choices. They have recipes that you can plan to cook & the ingredients are added to your shopping. Delivery slots have several options of days & time slots. Acordo communication was just right. Letting me know when my shopping was being picked, any substitute s which there wasn't. The delivery driver was polite, helpful & friendly. Food quality & freshness excellent, good dates too.

While the app is pretty good, I dislike the default use of carrier bags! Why encourage pollution. Driver won't accept the bags back straight away, very poor. You know people will forget, and it's a waste of plastic. Other providers use crates that only take a minute or so to empty. You also use very thin bags which means you use far too many!

While the app is fine for general use, trying to manage any faults or issues with an order via the app, is convoluted, frustrating, and takes you in circles. Some of the action buttons fail, such as the WhatsApp button in the "contact Ocado" section fails every time for me. The drivers are clearly not local to the delivery area, as not one has been able to successfully find us without causing traffic disruption, even parking, so they have to cross a busy road with the shopping.

Don't like the new app. Why can't we use this one still? Can't eventing a Waymo show or book new deliveries in new app.
