A fun non-casual rouge like strategy game. The setting is unique for being very low fantasy. Each run is self-contained. The in games adds are annoying (I remember when the game didn't have them), but the paid version is so cheap that it is practically free. My only complaint is that the late game is unfair. There is no way to heal your party and in the late game you often get 3v6-7 or more fights that just kill you unceremoniously. Maybe a skill issue on my part but I doubt it XP.

100% worth purchasing. You'll get more content and interesting quests...still sad about not being able to recover the sunder star, but one of the most exciting quests in the game nevertheless. There's so much more of this game with the complete version!

Its decent but lacking. First no ability to restore resolve is actually kind of game breaking. I get if a member is severely injured then lower it, but I would lose resolve if I got hit a single time in an entire fight. Second there is no way to unequip items and move them from one person to another or save in an inventory. I understand if a character dies or retires, and you lose it but that's it. Thirdly not being able to have more people than three is too limiting. Overall it's ok.

Great game, however, heroes keep dying after a few hits. You need to keep hiring new heroes, that's slowing game progress to a halt and takes away all fun.

The controls are extremely obnoxious and most of the time you will lose party members is due to the turn order + terrible map layout. End turns without moving being an ability that not everyone has is an extremely odd design choice. It is just not fun.
