Ochevio: Dart Scorer, Checkout

Ochevio counts your points in steel-tip darts. Your phone’s camera counts your throws, or you enter each dart with the keypad. The app calculates your remaining score, shows possible checkouts and optionally calls your points and remaining score — for practice at home or playing against others.

CAMERA MODE
• Position your phone so the camera sees the entire board. The app adds each detected dart to your visit.
• Before playing, capture an image and tap four points on the outer edge of the double ring. The app then displays the rings and detected darts in the camera image.
• If a segment is wrong, tap the dart in the strip and select the correct segment. Add a missing dart with the “Add dart” button. Corrections by tapping are part of camera mode.
• Switch between camera and keypad at any time, within the same game.
• Throws are detected on your device. Your phone needs a rear camera for camera mode.

X01 SCORING
• 301, 501 or 701, with single out or double out.
• A single leg or a match over several legs: 1 to 11 legs to win.
• Up to six players taking turns on one device.
• Each dart is recorded separately: single, double, treble, bull or miss.
• Undo a dart entered incorrectly.
• Checkout routes for your remaining score, whenever a finish is possible.

VOICE CALLS
• After each visit, the app calls your points and remaining score using your device’s text-to-speech, in your selected voice-call language, if your device has a suitable voice, and optionally with player names.
• Turn voice calls off in the settings.

HISTORY AND STATISTICS
• Completed and abandoned games stay in your history, including every throw.
• Statistics show each player’s 3-dart average, first-9 average, highest finish, best leg, 180s, 140+, 100+ and 60+, and checkout rate for double out.
• Your camera throws also produce a heatmap, the spread of hits within each sector and a count of camera darts that were left uncorrected.
• A graph shows your 3-dart average from game to game.
• Resume an unfinished game later from the same point.

MADE FOR AN EVENING AT THE BOARD
• Dark design.
• Runs on phones and tablets, including landscape on tablets.

YOUR DATA
The app has no internet permission and does not itself transmit any data. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and no user account. The app uses the camera only in camera mode to detect throws on your device; camera images are neither stored permanently nor transmitted. It saves your games and settings on your device; if you enable Google backup, Android can back them up to your Google account.
