The App OhCash offers Loans range: From KES 5,000 to KES 20,000. Depending on your credit level. Loan Period: the shortest period is 3 months, the longest is 12 months. APR Interest Rate: 24%. Applicant's age is between 20~50 years old.
Representative Example: If the loan amount is KES 5,000, the period is 12 months, and the total interest rate is 24%. Then the interest fee is KES 100 per month, and the total interest fee is KES 1,200 which is the total loan cost for 12 months. When the due date arrived, then the total amount of repayment is KES 6,200. (It means the amount of repayment is KES 517 per month) The calculation as below: The interest fee for 12 months: KES 5,000 x 24% = KES 1,200 The interest fee per month: KES 1,200 / 12 = KES 100 Total amount of repayment: KES 5,000 + KES 5,000 x 24% = KES 6,200 The amount of repayment per month: KES 6,200 / 12 = KES 517
