This is a very promising alternative for WhatsApp, I like the refreshing interface over the very dated green WhatsApp interface. It also doesn't need a phone number, which is a unique feature with a lot of advantages. I also like the face to face connection via QR code, it makes a very smooth user-friendly interface. That said, calls are not free, and that will stop Ovid in its tracks, very sad and disappointing 😢

I just had a notification come in over 12 hours late. Great encryption, yes. Zero reliability. Threema and Signal way, way better for reliability.

Will not allow you to make calls or have multi device without subscription, and I am not going to pay for an app that nobody uses. Has potential but as it is, it is useless.

A nightmare to connect with the contacts. Once the contacts accept to discuss with you. It works for 24 hours, and then you need to wait for your contacts to once more accept to discuss with you after sending a new message. Cannot send images. The app is stuck on uploading with an endless spinning blue circle. This is the worth app messaging I ever tried.

Worthless app. Ovid = All money. Not this way, you will replace a free App like WhatsApp. Too much greediness in this world.
