A positive experience but this app could benefit with some additional controls. Basically, you must set all perameters on the device then place the device for recording. The phone only has a very, very limited role. I gave four stars because it did what it said it would do. Minus one star for lack of features control to device.

One of the posts comments that the LS-P4 is not compatible with this app. That's NOT correct. I AM using this app with the P4. I've found the pairing is relatively easy, and the app makes stopping and starting your recording(s) basic / easy to use which I like ! The only issue I'm working through at the moment is the distance at which the connectivity remains active. I've been trying it in a hall (about 40 ft x 40 ft) with the P4 on a table at one end. I repeatedly lost connection at what I thought was a fairly reasonable distance. NB: the hall is open with no walls to interfere with the signal. I would have given the app a 5-star rating if not to for the repeated loss of connection to the P4 Cheers, r

The app has very, very basic functions. It needs at least an audio counter
to see the time of the recording. And a list of recordings done. If it
could be used to listen also to the recordings, would be nice.

This is a very hard to use app. Impossible to sync to my Nexus 6P. No updates in almost 2 years. This gave me a bad first impression about Olympus. No updates to my LS-P2 ....EVER. Not cool Olympus....
