The only thing that seems to work on the app are the advertisements. Can very rarely read an entire article without having to restart the app. Often multiple restarts to get through a single article. Very disappointing!

For the past month, I have gotten a 404 error when trying to read articles. I reinstalled the app. That seemed to do the trick. I see the app was last updated about the time the errors began.

I pay for subscription to use the app, but am unable to read articles because an ad is popping up and locking the screen. If you are going pop ads, please make sure it doesn't lock up (no way out).

The App fails to open 80% of the time. I have to go to the website to read the World Herald. When I click on a breaking news alert the app freezes or does not load the "breaking news" article. I said the app was horrible 7 years ago.....and nothing has changed for an upgrade in stars.

Since this app changed in late August 2019 it doesn't load on my Samsung tablet. It does work on my Samsung phone, so I have seen the updated version. It is terrible and seems to be more oriented toward showing photos instead of real news. If you click on a photo for an article that is subscriber only, it isn't identified as such until you get the message screen. That makes the app even more annoying to use. If the OWH is attempting to drive away all non subscribers, you are succeeding.
