Omikuji Bunko

Even if you draw ten passages a day, it would take about 2,090 years to read through them all.
Omikuji Bunko is a “tiny library in your palm” that randomly draws a literary passage from roughly 17,000 works available through Aozora Bunko (Japan’s digital public-domain literature archive).

The collection includes about 2.93 million short passages, about 4.70 million long passages, and over 7.63 million passages in total.
From that vast ocean of stories, a few words pop out by chance—sometimes echoing your mood today, sometimes carrying you somewhere completely new.

Enjoy the world of beautiful Japanese literature in an easy, omikuji-like draw.
