SCAN DOCUMENTS AND PHOTOS

SCAN TO WORD AND REUSE TEXT
• Export ordinary documents as editable Word files (.docx), including standard Word export on the free tier.
• Extract text from images, copy recognized text and create searchable PDFs with the OCR upgrade.
• Choose from multiple OCR languages and scripts, including Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Hindi.
• Pro adds enhanced Word layout recognition. Results depend on the original document and scan quality.

ID AND BUSINESS CARD SCANNER
• With Pro, scan the front and back of ID cards and arrange both sides on one page or export separate pages.
• Scan business cards, review the recognized details, then create or update a contact in your contacts app.

EDIT, SIGN AND ARRANGE PAGES
• Crop, rotate and reorder pages. Merge documents or split pages into a new document.
• Improve readability with document, grayscale, black-and-white and whiteboard filters.
• Add typed text, signatures, reusable stamps and drawings with the editing upgrade.
• Adjust text color and size, and arrange page elements with layout controls.
• Use redaction tools to cover sensitive areas before sharing.

SAVE, SHARE AND PRINT
• Export PDF, Word, JPEG or PNG. Multi-page image exports are bundled in a ZIP.
• Save exports to a folder you choose, share through installed apps or print a PDF using Android printing.
• Organize scans in folders and subfolders, pin important documents and search your library.
• Start a scan or open recent documents from home-screen widgets.

PRIVATE DOCUMENT SCANNING
Your scan library is stored locally. Document scanning and text recognition run on your device. No account is required, and there are no ads.

Use Privacy Screen to hide recent-app previews and block screenshots and screen sharing. App Lock and password-protected PDF exports provide additional controls.

Local scanning works offline after required components are available. Internet access may be needed to download scanner or OCR components and verify purchases. Sharing through other apps follows the destination app's settings.

FREE AND OPTIONAL UPGRADES
The free tier includes basic scanning, cropping, filters, folders, image import and standard PDF, Word, JPEG and PNG export. Word export is available for ordinary documents; ID scans use PDF or image export.

Pro adds batch and card scanning, OCR tools and searchable PDFs, enhanced Word layouts, signatures and editing, PDF import and other advanced controls. Eligible individual feature packs unlock their specific tools; they do not include every Pro feature. Check the in-app upgrade screen for available options.
