Excellent app. The core functionality I was looking for without the subscription, ads or tracking. And open source! Things I would like to see to make it 5*: custom daily macro (cals, protein, carbs, fat) goals; custom exercise cals (I have more accurate estimates from another app); save a group of foods and weights as a reusable meal/recipe; and data export. I use the OpenFoodFacts app to add any missing products, as it is a bit more flexible and I know I'm improving things for others. Thanks!

It's snappy, simple, free and open source, and as fully featured as the free tiers on most paid apps. Great for tracking calories and macros, though micro nutrient tracking is only partially implemented as of Nov 2024.

Oh, well. Cannot do much with "dry" ramen, either. Uninstalling. 7.21.24 Just installed. Not quite as US user-friendly as it could be. Tried to enter a scrambled egg breakfast. Had to add eggs by weight in grams. All measurements are metric.

Not very useful, Does not allow for custom recipes (Home cooked) only store items, if the item does not exist in the database, the fields to fill out are limited and some data is just missing entirely. The quantities asked for are confusing and if you make a mistake, editing it is not easy or intuitive. There's no apparent place to store custom foods for re-use later.

I cannot go under 5 % carbs per day, this means 21 g and above of carbs per day, so I cannot stay in ketosis. So if you want to do keto, this app is out, and all because someone decided for me how I can or should eat. It is MY decision whether I want to have a lower carb target.
