Confusing cancelation process cancel via the app does not mean you have cancelled via the main web based site, and you will be charged, and this company is not helpful when it comes to refund or even a partial refund. The app itself is good enough for lots of short courses useful for basic understanding of a topic. Not sure how much weight they carry with employers, more for personal interest in my view. Anything that leads to recognized qualifications needs further payment to the subscription

Very disappointing experience with Coursera. I requested a refund for a course that I barely used, but my request was denied with a generic response and no clear explanation of the alleged course usage. Customer support was unhelpful and lacked transparency. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the platform.

Buyer Beware. Be extremely careful when signing up for a Coursera free trial. System has a glitch!!! The cancellation process may not work as expected. I had canceled my subscription, but I never received a cancellation confirmation email and was later charged. Make sure you receive a cancellation confirmation email and verify that your subscription status shows as canceled. Otherwise, you may continue to be charged without realizing it.
