Most of the reviews on here are of people WHO GOT LUCKY! A OUIJA BOARD IS NO JOKE! AND THESE RULES ARE WONDERFUL! THEY GIVE AN UNKNOWING PERSON SOME INSIGHT AND GOOD PRACTICE IDEAS THAT PEOPLE USING A OUIJA BOARD SHOULD BE IN THE HABIT OF DOING! a ouija board doesn't come with instructions, whether it is homemade or not, and it is a good idea to know something about WHAT you are doing and the possiblity of the dangers that could happen, NOT THAT THEY HAPPEN TO EVERYONE! I had a ouija board at age 11, in 6th grade, 1973. My sibs and I used it alot, and I had it until I was 18 and went to college.Nothing ever happened to me or my family.No demons or ghosts bothered us.You can make an ouija with a sheet of paper and use a penny for a planchette, but that doesn't mean paper or pennies are evil. Your subconscious makes the planchette move, in other words, you move it without realizing it.It is not magic.
