Like many reviews I read this one, and it makes me want to write in. Bark was the app that was atrocious but for me Our Pact setup was easy, and it has worked like a charm since setup. Every person is different meaning I bet there are people out there that think Bark is great, I am just not one of them.

This app is a lifesaver for parents trying to manage their child's app usage and screen time. We have a child who must carry his phone with him at all times because it doubles as a medical device. Our pact lets us keep the important apps available all the time while selectively setting time limits for educational and entertainment apps. The one-time connection to a computer is a bit of a pain, but well worth it to be able to fully monitor and control what your child has access to.

I'm enjoying the app so much better than the screen time parental controls inbuilt on the iPad. I wouldn't mind several simple features being added. With allowance times you can only choose in increments of 30 mins which is very limiting. I would love the option of entering the time I want or at least have increments of 5s 10s etc. also I would love a feature to shut down the entire device not just the apps used in allowance time.

This app is terrible, it malfunctions on child's device all the time, causing issues with other phone, location is off half the time, it showed me my child was 10 miles in the desert causing me to about have a heart attack thinking my child got abducted. This app doesn't really block anything, the child can go on airplane mode and use Wi-Fi to bypass most locks. App is completely trash.

Update 10/26/23 Child can easily circumvent the app block on Snapchat by using the phone's camera. Our Pact support says they can't do anything about it. Note that Étui/Our pact has not updated this app since Sept 2022. That's totally unacceptable given the vast number of improvements that could be made to the app. Our Pact Jr should PAUSE THE CHILD'S TIME when the SCREEN SHUTS OFF. This is such an obvious feature, and an easy to implement feature, that it's a crime that it isn't in the app. W

It's not worth the money. You can't monitor their phone unless their share their screen which a teen won't do.
