This program works well. For each use, it requires the user to open a program on the PC and a matching program/app on the phone/tablet because, in contrast to the competition (which I have also used), this system does not use “USB debugging”. While each synchronization thus takes a few more mouse clicks, security and reliability are better and setup is simpler with USB debugging disabled (the default). I prefer the added control. During synchronization, this system is poor at showing progress; the user interface just sits there with a blank progress bar, and Task Manager shows it “Not responding”, but in fact it eventually finishes successfully. I have deducted one star from my rating for that reason. The time taken subjectively seems longer than on a competing system that shows progress, but I think the time is in fact about the same.

Cumbersome but effective so far UPDATE: This software is not ready for Prime Time. After several days of use I am uninstalling this app. While it works, the directions are wrong and the desktop app does not terminate normally. There is an error message every time. For the directions, the Desktop version says to connect mobile device via USB and start the app on the mobile device. The mobile device says to disconnect from the desktop before sync. Tech support responded but only asked if the sync worked.... I have a Samsung S4 and have tried in vain to sync Outlook 2010 via Kies 3. I want a cloud-free sync of my Outlook 2010 calendar without duplication. Both Companion Link and Kies had issues with this. My Outlook calendar was full of double and triple entries!!!! After hours of cleaning this up I'm giving this app a chance. The first sync of the calendar only seems to have gone well. I'll update after the trial period.

virus as soon as it is downloaded it is identified as virus. after downloading when i tried to sync, it prompted me to disconnect from PC and sync. it started reading and writing calender. dont download it. Giving one star as i dont knw how to give less than that
