OxStudy: True/False Flashcards

OxStudy is a flashcard app for memorizing by answering O (true) or X (false).
Exam statements, word meanings, general knowledge — anything you can check as true or false becomes a deck you can repeat until the answer comes without thinking.

■ Five modes
• Test mode – Tap O or X within a time limit (4–12 seconds). When you miss, you see the answer and explanation, and at the end you can retry only the questions you got wrong.
• List mode – Read the selected questions with answers and explanations, like a book.
• Card mode – Hands-free flashcards that move on by themselves, timed to the length of each card. Great for glancing at between other tasks, or on a tablet on a stand.
• Audio mode – Reads the statement, answer and explanation aloud. It keeps reading with the screen off, so you can listen while walking or commuting. Sound effects tell you O or X, and there is a sleep timer.
• Edit mode – Add questions, fix typos, search.

■ Weakest questions first – oxPoint
Every question keeps an oxPoint (+1 when you answer correctly in a test, −1 when you miss). Pick only the questions you know least, such as "−2 or lower", in Test, List, Card and Audio mode, or pick only the questions you have not tested yet. The deck list shows the number of questions, average oxPoint and weak questions for each deck at a glance.

■ Make decks in Excel or Google Sheets
Fill column A with statements, B with the answer (O/X) and C with explanations, then import the Excel (.xlsx) file or Google Sheet directly. You can export a blank template from the app. You can also add questions one by one in the app.

■ Share and back up
Save a deck as an .oxstudy file on your phone or Google Drive and share it with others. Back up all decks with your study records into one file and move them to a new phone.

■ Also
• Text size from 90% to 400%
• True statements in blue, false statements in red, plus an (O)/(X) mark
• Languages: English, 한국어, 日本語, Tiếng Việt
• Works on phones and tablets (landscape on tablets)

■ Ads and privacy
OxStudy is free and shows ads below the deck list and on result screens. Ads never appear while you are answering questions or while Card or Audio mode is playing. Watch one ad to the end to go ad-free for 24 hours.
Your decks and study records are stored only on your phone.
