Aladdin connect is a very nice device to remotely open/close your garage door. If you are one of those people who drive a few miles away from your home and then wonder if you closed your garage door you will never have to worry about it again.

Wish I could give it zero stars. Spent over 2 hours trying to get this app to work, and am an IT guy with thorough networking experience. This app is trash, don't buy the more expensive garage door opener just for this feature, it won't work!

There's a stupid delay when using the app to open the door. There isn't if you use an RF remote. Makes no sense. Not compatible with Carplay or Android Auto. If you try to use SmartThings paired to Aladdin Connect to use Android Auto it fails 9 out of 10 times.
