Great app and I use it to track my steps at my gym and while mowing my lawn. My lawn gives me an average of 4.25 miles of walking every weekend. I have been using Pacer for about 9 years. Love the weight loss. Enjoy feedback and encouragement from other users. Walking is great preparing for hiking and backpacking. My doctor likes my lower blood pressure levels. Have encouraged my wife and brothers to join. Even friends have joined. Very pleased with Pacer. ❤️ 👣👣👣

Unfortunately, when I tried to boot the app there was no way for me to access the free version of the app without first signing up for a free 7-day trial. I prefer to try before signing up, and feel like this is a bit predatory hoping that people might forget to unsub during the 7-day trial. I've been caught out by this sort of thing before, so I will be deleting the app.

Good for steps. GPS is really inaccurate. Only using it to complete an Ohio walking challenge. My daily almost 3-mile walk has recorded from 1.9 to 2.6 miles. Being off by over 50% is ridiculous.

Good as a pedometer but absolutely terrible when it comes to the league stuff and competitive challenges. Full of cheaters and bots (who walks 60k steps on a daily basis?) and people who inexplicably walk 20 km in 15k steps which is just impossible. Even when reporting nothing is done when someone is clearly cheating. I used to enjoy these challenges but when a guy who walks 15k steps a day is 30 km ahead of me who walks 20-25k a day that's clearly cheating and not a real contest.
