Pagekeep: PDF Scanner & OCR

Pagekeep turns paper into clean PDFs on your phone. Scan documents, ID cards, receipts and notes, search the text inside every scan, and shrink a PDF under 100 KB for an online form. No account, no watermark, and your documents stay on your phone.

Point the camera at a page: Google's document scanner finds the edges, straightens the page and captures several pages in one go. Tidy them up, pick a filter and save a crisp PDF.

MADE FOR EVERYDAY PAPERWORK
• ID Card mode: scan the front and back of an Aadhaar, PAN card or driving licence and get both on one A4 page at real size (85.6 × 54 mm), ready to print like a photocopy.
• Make it smaller: a PDF under 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB or 1 MB, or any limit you type, for exam, job and application forms.
• Or save one page as a JPG under 20 KB, 50 KB or any size a form asks for, or both sides of an ID card on one JPG.
• Receipts: a narrow page and a crisp black-and-white look for bills and invoices.
• Book & Notes: extra contrast so class notes and book pages stay readable.
• Documents: letters, forms and certificates on A4, US Letter or fit-to-image pages.

FIND ANY WORD (OCR)
• The text on your scanned pages is recognised on your phone, so a search finds the page a word is on.
• PDFs you share or save carry that text, so other apps can search and copy it too.
• Copy or share the text of a page or a whole document, or save it as a .txt file.
• Text recognition reads English and other Latin-script languages. Hindi and other Indian scripts aren't supported yet.

EDIT BEFORE YOU SAVE
• Crop and straighten photos of documents by dragging the four corners to the page edges.
• See every page in a grid and drag pages into order; rotate, filter or delete several at once.
• Rotate, delete or retake pages, and add more from the camera, your photos or your files.
• Filters: Original, Enhanced, Grayscale and B&W, for one page or all of them.
• Choose the page size, margins and quality (Small, Balanced or High).

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account and no cloud uploads. Scans, PDFs and recognised text are stored only on your phone.
• Documents leave the app only when you share or save them.
• No photo, storage or camera permission: you pick photos and files in Android's own pickers, saving uses the folder picker, and scanning uses Google's document scanner from Google Play services.
• Lock the app with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.
• Back up your whole library to one .zip file you keep wherever you like, and restore it on a new phone.

YOUR LIBRARY
• Thumbnails with page count, size and date; list or grid; sort by date, name or size.
• Favourites and folders, and one search box for names and the text inside your scans.
• Rename, duplicate and merge documents, and add pages to a saved scan.
• Share a PDF or a page as an image, or save pages and PDFs to any folder, like Downloads.
• Select several documents to save them in one go or share them as one PDF.
• Import PDFs and images you already have.
• Light and dark mode, and large text sizes.
