It is quite slow to connect, but I think anyone struggles just doesn't know what they're doing tbh. I have had no issues from either phone I've tried the app on. Maybe the 1-star reviewers don't have a capable camera? I'm using a Lu mix G97, so fairly new. It's SO convenient for remote shooting on a tripod/telescope; as well as effortlessly transferring the photos to my phone. I thought it needed an actual Wi-Fi connection, but it works fine without it, so I can still use it in remote environments

It works perfectly for transferring images and remote control of my S5D. I transfer images by waking the camera up (while it's switched off) using the App. The only thing is I can't see a way of shutting the camera down after image transfer other than by switching the camera on, then off again. Is this an oversight?

Wi-Fi keep disconnecting from the camera and can't connect via Bluetooth at all terrible app have to use the pc overtime for transferring

Terrible application. I have two Lu mix cameras, an S5 and a G97. Neither will pair with Bluetooth. I want to be able to do a remote shutter release. Panasonic doesn't offer a traditional wireless release like Nikon. They force you to attempt to use this worthless app that never pairs with my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL phone. I love the cameras otherwise. Sad.
