Par Blocks

Every block moves at once.

Swipe in any direction and every block on the board slides that way. Nothing moves on its own. Nothing is random. The whole board answers to a single gesture, so the only question is which gesture, and in what order.

THREE RULES, AND THAT IS ALL

- Swipe to slide every block at once.
- Fill a complete row or column and it clears.
- Grey blocks are bolted down. They never move, and they are always in the way.

You will understand the rules in ten seconds. The stages will keep you busy for a lot longer than that.

PAR IS THE REAL GAME

Every stage has a par, and par is the shortest solution that exists for that board. Not an estimate, not a designer's guess. Every board was searched exhaustively, so the number you are chasing really is the lowest one possible.

Clear a stage in par and you earn three stars. You get two spare swipes to finish, but each one costs you a star. Clearing the board is the warm up. Clearing it in par is the puzzle.

EVERY STAGE HIDES A PICTURE

Clear the board and the blocks pull away to reveal the artwork underneath. A lighthouse at first light. A cave full of blue crystal. Polar bears under the northern lights. A sunflower road in late summer.

Each picture you uncover goes into your Gallery. Collect the same picture on every difficulty to light all three of its markers, and fill the Gallery one board at a time.

THREE DIFFICULTIES

Easy eases you in with two and three move boards. Normal settles into four and five. Hard is six moves of tight, deliberate puzzles where a single wasted swipe is the difference between three stars and one.

Every stage is solvable, and every stage has a verified shortest path. If a board looks impossible, it is not. You have just not found the line yet.

TAKE AS LONG AS YOU LIKE

No timer. No countdown. No block that expires while you are thinking. The board sits still and waits for you, whether that takes five seconds or five minutes.
