What is parkrun?
parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. parkrun is 5k and takes place every Saturday morning. junior parkrun is 2k, dedicated to 4-14 year olds and their families, every Sunday morning. parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last, as each event has a volunteer Tail Walker. Everyone is welcome to come along.

My first Park run at Green ham Common and it was absolutely fantastic, as was the weather. I can't wait to do it again. It was superbly organized and huge fun. My thanks to all the volunteers who give up their time to make it happen.

Park run is the best! Just lace up your shoes and run. The app keeps track of all your stats. I live in Georgia, there's only one location. There are hundreds across the U.S. and thousands around the world. I joined one at Branch Brook Park in N.J. while visiting family. Welcoming volunteers and a great experience. Most races charge an entry fee or a donation, and there's nothing wrong with that. But sometimes, as Forrest Gump said, "I just felt like running." Park run lets you do that-for free!

Download form official Google Play Store but app won't open, keep getting the error message I'm not using an up-to-date version of the app which I am. I'm using Android 14, the phone is up-to-date, the app is the up-to-date version. I have tried clearing cache in both park run app and Google play app, restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled still doesn't work.

My app said an update is needed, I updated it but still gave the same error message. I uninstalled but now it won't install again
