First time barcode scanning, and it worked a treat - scanned wristbands, paper barcodes, phones and smartwatches without a problem. One tip, if there's glare on the barcode put your hand over the top to create shade.

Generally very good. Would get five stars if the timekeeper mode had a no-response border. I've seen far too many false times from phones picking up fingers holding the edge of the phone. Also, a focus aim point for barcode scanning would be good, I occasionally have problems scanning because the camera focuses on the ground rather than the now out-of-focus barcode. Have to keep waggling it around until it's dead center and focuses properly.

Easy to use, but pleasy could you add a counter for how many barcodes have been scanned. Especially when there are more volunteer barcode scanners, it helps to coordinate the effort.

Won't scan QR code. Nokia 3.4 with Android app newly installed. Scanned barcodes well in soggy conditions, but wouldn't scan QR code to submit results (square code distorted, appearing on-screen as a rectangle instead). Sent results by email but more work for core team. A bit embarrassing so put off scanning again. Can't just be my phone. Potentially great app once the wrinkles on Android are ironed out.

Huawei phone user here. Camera will not focus and scan window is tiny so cannot get it to scan barcodes. Please can this be resolved, so I can help out at my local Park run?

Barcode scanning for the first time today and had an issue with many barcodes and the event QR code. It seems the app on my phone (moto g9 play) triggers the camera in to landscape mode/ stretches it so code is unreadable
