PDF Cepte helps you scan documents, create PDFs from photos, extract PDF text, export PDF pages, convert supported text-based files back to PDF, and manage everyday PDF tools from one mobile app.
Main features: - Scan documents with the camera or import document pages from the gallery. Scanning continues offline with your device camera or gallery. Advanced scanning is used automatically if it is already supported on the device. Pages stay on your device; PDF Cepte does not upload them. - Save scan results as PDF or JPG pages inside a ZIP file. - Convert multiple photos into a single PDF. - Convert PDF files to TXT, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, or RTF using extracted text. - Export PDF pages as JPG ZIP or PNG ZIP. - Convert photos, TXT, RTF, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files to PDF on the device using text-based extraction where applicable. - Merge PDFs, split pages, extract pages, remove pages, reorder pages, rotate pages, reduce PDF size, add page numbers, add text watermarks, add image watermarks, and view PDF properties. - Choose output save locations with Android's system file picker. - Open or share completed outputs from Recent Operations. - Contact support from inside the app when something goes wrong.
Important conversion note: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and RTF exports are simple editable text-based outputs created from extracted PDF text. They do not claim to preserve the original PDF's visual layout, charts, images, or tables exactly.
Privacy-focused design: - Local PDF creation, scan output saving, PDF tools, and supported offline conversions run on the device. - The app uses Android's system file picker instead of broad storage access. - Source files are not uploaded for local tools. - The contact form sends only the name, email address, and message you enter so support can reply.
