Comments on Pear Launcher for Android

I have been looking for a launcher to replace Nova and stumbled upon Pear launcher. My search is over! Love having app icon gestures again. Thank you and keep up the great work!

★★★★★ Arthur Askew · Jun 4, 2026

I like it because it's so easy to set up the way that I wanted, and the best part is that there are NO ADS that get in the way while setting it up, and it gets even better, where I can lock all the apps in place (home screen and app drawer) and I can also change the shapes of the icons too plus it doesn't take up a lot of space! For me this is a great launcher to use since the stock launcher on my phone doesn't do the things that I have mentioned.

★★★★☆ Wilson Siu · Sep 6, 2025

Migrated from Nova after more than a decade. Pear launcher more or less replaces it while giving me the customizations I need. Would like the ability to scroll the dock both ways for those who have multiple dock pages.

★★☆☆☆ ransan · Oct 12, 2025

This is usable, but the app drawer swipe gesture often breaks and this doesn't have a proper "Follow system theme" setting. I like the "Stock" search bar in the drawer, but I hate that I can't put the exact same search bar on the desktop/dock. I switched to Octopi Launcher because it feels more modern, and it has most of the features I use in Pear.
