I love pedal commander! It's made my car even more fun! I hid the unit to use the anti theft feature until I had a better system installed, so I had to use the app to control it. Anti theft mode is $1/month... seriously not that bad seeing how much I paid for the new security system and GPS tracking every month. And it WORKED and gave me peace of mind after a failed theft attempt on my car until I could get the permanent system installed.

Works easily on my 4Runner. Eliminates the throttle lag from electronic gas pedal system. Just don't use any Sport modes on a 4runner. Your transmission can shift so strangely, in any Sport mode while changing to high gear ratio would do more for power, response T4R ECU adjust faster and set the new shift parameters because of the new signal from TB Sport mode. It will downshift several gears at once on making you think it has a transmission problem, but ECU trying to find its new settings.

Dreadful app. The hardware is fine, but I want the unit concealed and operable by Bluetooth, should be easy except the app will not connect to the unit whatever fix I try. My phone can see and pair to the PC unit but not the app. very, very disappointed. You can buy much cheaper pedal controllers without Bluetooth.....

App disconnected from device. Can't connect it back because it says incorrect serial number which is not. Sent email to pedal commander customer service. No response. Disappointed.

New software brakes the device. This worked fine for two years. It was a great. But now the new software is VERY social media focused, and won't connect to the device.

I paid a little over $300 for the Pedal Commander. Now, after the recent update, they want to charge you to use a security feature built into and formally usable. That's complete ROBBERY. I'm talking about the Anti-theft setting. They now want you to subscribe to a monthly, or yearly charge to use a setting that requires NOTHING on their part, it's already there. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT IT'S TRULY NOT WORTH IT....
