If you are having issues with the App opening....check your font settings for your phone. The font setting needs to be set to the original factory setting.

App and Bluetooth do not keep a constant pairing with pedal module. Android Is constantly trying to pair with the device. It's clear the developers spent more time on the iOS version. This is borderline unusable. If you look at the screenshots, all of them show" app unpaired" in the lower right-hand corner.
