It is so shameful that the developer has not yet been able to implement and deploy simple Markdown codes in full-fledged. *Italic text* not working, table code not working etc.

There are better free alternatives like google keeps and samsung notes or even your default not taking app

I need option to change color because the default gray/ silver font is definestly washed out for my vision. Another must have for me is font style (Georgia, Book man Old Style, etcetera) beyond heading format #1,2,3. I also would love if the tabs were labeled or enlarged because I couldn't find the tab row for the longest time to edit the document.
