App has been fine for me, it makes checking the Filter easy and using the app to change fan speed is also very easy. I also like the pages with information about different allergens and the fact you can check on the allergens on the day in your area. The filter itself is very good and is going to be a game changer for my allergies.

Update: After another reset and changing it to my MESH network all works exactly as it should. Can remotely monitor from my phone, all functionality works. Must have been a miracle 🙏 As long it keeps functioning well, I may get another purifier.

Sadly the app doesn't work without the device accessing the Internet. I connected the Purifier to Wi-Fi and prohibited connection outside my network. The app doesn't connect even when the phone is on the same network. This whole system is bound to some cloud service and part of the functionality is not available when manufacturer decides to kill the product. This makes the app unusable as allowing random devices to send data outside my network is no-go.

The app has potential, but the remote connectivity is unreliable. I have two Philips 600 Series (AC0650/10) air purifiers connected to the same home Wi-Fi. Both devices connect and can be controlled initially, but after some time they stop responding to remote commands when I'm away from home using mobile data. The app still shows the devices, but changing between Turbo, Medium or Sleep has no effect. Strangely, if I simply turn my phone's mobile data off and back on, remote control immediately
