The app is good to use. My only issue is that the ambilight is not working for my tv....but apart from that, it is highly recommended

Works fantastic on Philips Ambilight TVs. The majority of people in the review section who's devices aren't connected are very likely people who are lacking the ability to properly set up their devices on their home Wi-Fi connection. We asked for Ambilight controls on the remote (app) and the Devs delivered. What's not to love? Devs, the only thing I ask if you get a chance is to allow us to choose a default landing page. I like the idea of opening the app and having remote by default 👍 A+

Basics work, but as typical Philips software this is a collection of almost user-friendly missed chances. Some examples: Entering text gives 'input to TV' dialogue that is meant for channels, so it consistently exits after entering 1 or 2 characters. Scrolling through apps does not roll over when reaching the end of the app collection. Does not remember the selected TV. But: A nice bonus star for making it possible to control the TV when the remote is lost!

Very slow to connect to the TV, if it ever connects. The app used to work great, but 6 months ago or so they released, a, new update and since then I've gone back to use the physical remote instead since the app is so unstable

Installed on Galaxy S6. Does not find my TV. Tried to install by ip, and it says the ip is invalid. Sept 23 Still does not work on Moto g31 android 12. Useless. Update, March 26 new phone android 15 still does not work.

Worse with each new version. Continuous location requests (on EVERY interaction) for remote control?! No widgets? Very, very bad
