Works ok on my system with issues... Won't connect unless I open the Philip's sound app first, let it find the bar. Once done open this and it connects fine.

For those with update problems try factory reset... For Philips support: - Surround sound option is always OFF after switching off soundbar - Speaker level adjustment has only 5 increments which is not enough for fine-tuning sound, at least 10 increments would be great - Volume on HDMI earc is way too high despite turning volume at 1 on TV - Volume slider in app is tricky to use - There is some connectivity issues with alexa, cant set volume with voice even though I could do this... TAB 8905

I can play music through playoff(APP:philips sound),but it still shows up that the divice is disconnected and unable to update the firmware.

Updated firmware for my TAB8505/10, TV won't recognize the Soundbar anymore. Back and forth with Philips Service Center for two weeks asking for a way to do a rollback, but no solution. Soundbar turned into an expensive paperweight. Don't update this app or your firmware.

Absolutely rubbish loses connection. Always says device disconnected when trying to connect. Firmware WILL NOT DOWNLOAD! Says firmware available. Shows the two different versions installed/available. Click download the page blink to downloading then straight back to firmware available page... Will not download! Philips TAB8805/10 Soundbar
