My 3yo has started enjoying brushing her teeth with this app, so it's made a great difference. Only 4 stars because I did have issue connecting the Sonic are Kids tooth brush the first time around, just would spin, so I had to delete her profile and make a new one to make it work. Also, making some items Sparkly can obtain consumable doesn't make much sense for a children's app. Food, paint, make them not consumable.

One time my mom turn off the Bluetooth and something weird happened, so my solution was to turn the Bluetooth off and then turn it on, and it works really well. So normally I turn the Bluetooth off because I can brush my teeth well and when I the Bluetooth on I can my strike how I brush my teeth and get my prizes to.

My son is 8 and he still likes it. The only thing I don’t like is it doesn't "see" how the kid is brushing like the discontinued Colgate kids toothbrush. That is really important. Oh, and it should remind them to brush their tongue at the end (also something Colgate did).

Generally the app is great and really helps my child be engaged and interested in brushing. He LOVES his sparkly. The only issue is that paint is consumable and the coolest patterned paints rarely ever appear as rewards. Twice now my 4-year-old has accidentally painted over his favorite color pattern while scrolling through the paints and broken down in tears over it because he can't switch it back. Simply make paints non-consumable like clothing is so kids can experiment without fear!

I have 2 children and they both used the app every day. With the most recent update, my son's streak dropped from 1082 to 9 for no reason. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, the streak changed to 125. Through all of this, my daughter's streak remained at the 1082 mark. I went to the parent dashboard and spent a VERY long time granting credit for all the brushing that the app had changed to missed. This didn't fix his streak. Now both of their profiles are just gone, and they are devastated.

I used to love this app. Now I Hate it. I have 2 kids with separate brushes, and it always has problems with it. You'd think that doing the right thing and getting 2 brushes would entitle you to a working app. Half the time it gives me errors about finding the wrong brush that I Can't get to go away. And I know what I'm doing. My kids Cry because that can't get their brushing reward. Just let me tap the brush I'm using. I hate you sonic are for making this so painful.

The parent experience in this app is really awful because there's no direct control over what Bluetooth device is connected, or how to disconnect. Currently my daughter's toothbrush is connected to both her profile and my son's. And now my son's profile is rendered useless bc not only won't it connects, there's no manual work around option. The kids love this app but if it breaks down on basic functions then all this is just a waste of money. They have a support line that's open during work hours
