Now working on my Android 13 Samsung S21 ultra. Just needed to delete\re-install app and reset lights to Bluetooth pairing mode. My lights are model 9417 and only pair with this app. The newer version 9417b has wi-fi and uses the Tuya app. Would be nice if the 9417 could be upgraded to the 9417b? A change of driver maybe? Light groups/actions/events cannot be backed up in settings, a pain if you reset. No Alexa implementation unless you have the newer light versions running via the Tuya app.

Once you have undertaken a factory reset, everything can be set up again after an app update. Without the factory reset (see bulb installation guide) you will not receive anything but limited functionality.

I cannot control my lights anymore!! It says the app is for an older version of android, check for updates... And nothing! Has anyone got an app that will control these lights? I've got 12 of them and paid a lot of money for them, may as well as saved myself a fortune and just bought normal spotlights.

App no longer working on almost all of my android devices. I have fortunately found 1 device in my home that this app still seems to work with, but I cannot risk doing a software update if I want to continue to have access to the app. The app must be in need of an update from the manufacturer
