The Fire Station Alerting (FSA) Mobile App is an extension of the Phoenix G2 Fire Station Alerting System, manufactured by US Digital Designs (USDD). With it, firefighters and first responders can get instant verbal, written and location fire station alerts, regardless of whether they are in the fire station or on the road.
>>ONLY authorized customers using the USDD’s Phoenix G2 Fire Station Alerting System (FSAS) may view and/or hear mobile station alerts. An activation code is required.
>>To request an activation code, please contact your agency’s fire station alerting system (FSAS) administrator.
>>Available on Android 4.2 and higher
>>App technical support is only available via a fire agency’s administrator for the Phoenix G2 FSAS.
**HOW IT WORKS** >>Sends simultaneous mobile alerts to designated mobile users and fire stations. >>Alerts personnel as individuals or groups (e.g., units, stations, districts, etc.). >>Get directions to the incident location using your device’s built-in mapping capabilities. >>Enables users to save notifications for future reference and search for previous notifications. >>Provides an easy-access email address and phone link to the fire agency’s FSAS administrator.
**FEATURES & BENEFITS** >>Customize alerts. First responders can receive an audio tone, vibration on the phone or a visual text message, or all three.
>>Locate the quickest route. Use the mobile device’s GPS technology to arrive as quickly as possible, since seconds can determine whether someone lives or dies.
>>Search and save content. Find specific incident or alert types, unit assignments and other critical data for review, then “pin” specific alerts to access and/or analyze at a later time.
>>Receive simultaneous alerts. Life is unpredictable and, more often than not, first responders might have multiple incidents to which they’re responding. The FSA Mobile App provides concurrent alerts, such as dispatch announcements, administrative alerts, IT support notifications and application update notifications.
>>Hear the same, consistent, automated tones and voice as the station. A predictable tone and easily comprehended vocalized alert (VoiceAlert) can dramatically increase the accuracy and comprehension of the incident details.
>>Turn alerts on or off. Nobody deserves rest more than off-duty emergency responders, so the FSA Mobile App has a simple on and off switch to disable or enable push-notifications.
>>Filter notifications for a specific need or desire. The fire agency’s FSAS administrator can assign users to units or stations and specifically match what individual users need to see and hear. Users may also create their own individual filters.
>>Receive alerts for more than just one unit or station. Alert monitors enable users to receive alerts for combinations of units, stations, districts or incident types. Supervisors or special team members can keep up on activities of interest.
>>Rely on the app for redundant alerts. A user can be out-of-quarters, out-of-apparatus and stuck with a malfunctioning radio, yet still have another redundant means to ensure that the appropriate personnel are alerted as quickly as possible.
**REQUEST ACCESS** If you’re a customer of US Digital Designs and need to gain access to the app, please request a FSA Mobile App activation code from your fire agency’s FSAS administrator.

Maybe it's my department, but I don't get a location. Also, I've spent a ton of time trying to customize notifications based off of call type. Other than that, I love it.

Doesn't push any notifications. Tried going through every setting, deleting
and redownloading, no luck. Worked on my Samsung, not so much on the Pixel
2.

App works well, but the UI is a little clunky. One nice change would be a way to type in the unit number you're looking to follow on the notification settings page. I change assignments frequently, and having to scroll through to find the unit is kind of annoying. I frequently press the wrong unit number while just trying to scroll past it. This could very well be an issue that's compounded by how our dispatch agency has this set up. There are hundreds of units in the list for us.

It is really pretty useless if there isn't a notification loud enough to wake me up for calls when I am off duty and need to listen for recalls. It could be that I am missing that option in the 80 choices for tones to adjust the settings on, but there is no way to find out which tone corresponds to which agency, so overall, this app is great, if you are awake and are OK with your phone's default notification tone, but not if you are looking for a substitute for a pager.

Not happy with this at all. I'm running Android N. I don't get audible notifications, it worked for a couple of days, but now I just get is a visual notification. I have been through all the permissions there are... horrible app. The only support is my local admin for the department. This has already been reported, and still not fixed or addressed by the developer. Last update was 9/16

Off duty should mean just that. If I select off duty it should not show any notifications not just mute. My phone can mute on its own. Vehicle assignments change every shift and shouldn't be a hassle to change. If I disable a push notifications disable it! Don't just mute it. Well guess what, I still get the pop-up in system tray. I have confirmed it's set to off duty. I removed any monitoring and assigned my self to a station since this is the only way to use the duty button. I am not monitoring anything. Galaxy S7
