Loaded the app, and they asked for a credit card to go any further and the fine print said they were going to charge $49.99 a month. Just want to connect a hands-free echo Christmas gift!

It asks you to put in your credits card details, but reassure you it won't be charging you 00:00 and once you get to the end with amazon they want 24.99 off your account... What a joke...

Maybe it's me, but I don't know how this is supposed to work when I speak to Alexa through my phone she doesn't answer me unless I'm pushing a button to get her attention when I asked her to do things she isn't doing them and maybe that's because I don't have the actual Alexa echo or whatever else you all use in your homes for it, but I was under the impression that this app would work with just your phone, so I wanted to be able to ask it to send and read messages and make calls and I can't.
