The best splitter app does half up and down plus 2x2 and some others as well. The end result have no white lines around them, so it's like you cut the photos yourself, and they do list the number of each photo in the file name which they even show you a picture of it with the numbers on each one which are in the order from left to right for each roe

Reduces the quality of the image after splitting. My picture was 6 MB in size, and I used the app to split it into two halves, it did the job, but why compress the image to 200 KB each ? Such a shame it does this and makes the images unusable after splitting.

Idiotic app. The add is in front of the next option after selecting language. You can't click next after selecting language. Hahaha...
