Screen blanking resets the application. This calculator is OK. It does everything I need to do. However, the most annoying thing about this application is that if I'm in the middle of a calculation and put my phone down for a few minutes; the phone goes into "sleep" mode to save power... but then when going back to my phone, all of the work in the calculator application has disappeared! The calculator effectively resets and that's the end of your hard work. I don't know about you, but the way I work with calculators doesn't mean I'm always hacking away at the keyboard for answers... I have to go away and think about things. The reset on screen blanking is a MAJOR problem, and most of the time makes me reach for my conventional calculator instead. If you want to make a quick calculation then fine, but I'm giving this 1 star for the fact that most of the time I find it useless as I regularly lose my ongoing work.

Garbage and dishonest I confirmed that this app gives errors on the most elementary calculations as described earlier(eg Aryu). The author also deceitfully rated his app no. 1 in a supposedly unbiased review(on Androidforums) and continued to insist on being unbiased after being uncovered. He also said maths was his obsession, which seems unlikely when the calculator is so unreliable.
★★☆☆☆
Untrustworthy results It pains me to write poor reviews, which I rarely do. Unfortunately, this calculator could result in undetected errors in the simplest of calculations. 1. Most subtractions that result in a "3" showing in the odd numbered decimal digit (i.e., x.3, x.xx3, x.xxxx3) result in a rounding error usually only seen when dividing by 3. The fact that it can occur in a simple subtraction is unforgivable (i.e. 78.9-45.6=). Granted, it can be easily spotted, but it holds that error throughout any complex calculations wherein it will hide. 2. Ambiguous user interfaces resulting in confusion, or worse, unknown false solutions are my largest pet peeve. A button should be something you want, not used as an indicator of the device's state unless clearly indicated. a. Regarding the "Degree - Rad - Grad" key, are you in degrees or do you want degrees? The only way to insure is to do a known calculation, such as "sin(90)" and see the result. It requires the user to verify that. b. In "programmer" mode, it has no indication at all if you are in Octal, Decimal, etc. Unreliable results = 1 star.
