TURN ON LOCATION! After some digging on Roland's site I found that newer Android users must turn location settings on for this app to connect. Once location setting is turned on in your device (not just in the app) the app works as it should with my HP-702.

App has plenty of features, but connecting over Bluetooth is unintuitive: 1. Enable Bluetooth (or the app will crash) and Location (or it won't find the piano). 2. In the app, ignore the automatic initial scan as it never works, go to the settings screen in the top right, tap "Bluetooth MIDI Devices", and it should ask for nearby devices permissions and find the piano. Tap to pair & connect, then go back and select the piano from the "Device" dropdown menu above "Bluetooth MIDI Devices".

This is almost as good as Pianoteq. It does have difficulties with connectivity like any other Roland app, but oh boy does it improve the sound. Piano: FP-30X

Like many others I had trouble connecting to my HP605 via blue tooth. It
initially worked well after updating the piano software version but kept
losing connection even when the tablet said it was paired as an input
device. Solved... Use a USB cable instead. You need an A to B USB cable
plus an OTG adapter. For an A to B cable look for a USB printer cable about
6ft. For the OTG adapter I'd recommend one with a right-hand elbow.

The app does not connect to my keyboard via Bluetooth. It is built like an Android jellybean app and doesn't have the functionality I expect from an app in 2022, given how much I paid for the keyboard

Not recognizing the HP603 on S5 Android 6 ***Update: I have updated the HP603 as recommended to version 1.09, and it still doesn't work. ***My phone displays the piano as paired but the app does not list my piano. Would appreciate feedback with a solution.

Can't find hp 605 I can pair my phone and iPad with my hp 605 but piano designer can't find them as an instrument.

Can not connect my Roland FP-10 digital piano. I can connect from phone to piano via Bluetooth, but the app fails to recognize it.
