Comments on Pill Logger - Meds Tracker for Android
★★★★★
Good for tracking only; can't categorize. No way to distinguish routes meds are given. Limited color choices for each medication before you'd have to make your own colors. Having said this, I use this to track those medications that I take for pain, since pretty much all of them will kill you if taken incorrectly. Great for logging opiates taken, so extra doses aren't taken with severe flare-ups of pain. Very few apps allow you to just track meds taken.

This is perfect for recording the meds I take each day, so that I neither forget to take them nor take more than prescribed. No bells or whistles but great for my needs. A couple of glitches: the 'plus sign' (+) for recording a dose sometimes disappears after recording my 1st med (but there's an easy work-around for the next pill up), and the history graph sometimes omits data for previous Fridays in the 7-day view (but not for Fridays of the current week). Overall I'm quite satisfied.
★★☆☆☆
There aren't any annoying ads in this app, it's the following it, it doesn't list the meds in alphabetical order, the only thing it does is each time you take meds is it puts it in column form top to bottom & then you have to scroll through all the meds to find a med to see when a med was taken. You can do THE EXACT SAME THING BY MAKING YOUR OWN LIST! You can do BETTER BY LISTING then alphabetically and then logging the time HORIZONTALLY yourself (which is what I did)

I paid for the ability to import data from a backup. However, the app crashes every time I try to restore the backup.

Updated: This app consistently loses recorded doses. It's extremely unreliable. It's ok for dose to dose, but almost always has trouble reporting the previous day.
★★☆☆☆
Good app. But I recently purchased the import/export option as I switched to different phone, and it's not working. Every time I try to restore the json backup app crashes. So It's useless for me until restore option is fixed.
★★☆☆☆
After testing the app for 2 days, I haven't received any reminders of my medications. Not reliable at all and that's the main job of an app like this, so this one is not useful.
