Ping testing works great. Only complaint would be that I can't submit a coin because it can't detect that my phone has a camera. Android 14 and Ping coin 0.1.41.

I like it, but they haven't updated it with more coins since I installed it about 2 months ago. There's a lot of coins I have that aren't in this such as 25.00 half Gold Eagles for one not to mention the 1/10 Eagles. I have silver eagles and only 1 tested as fake. I have 2 counterfeit silver eagles that I bought purposely to test the Ping test apps and this app never gave them a total pass, but they did get 2 of the frequencies fairly often. Must have tested the fake coins at least 50 times LOL

Best example why you should turn off auto update. They made it paid after 10 pings per month. Not day, MONTH. Before it was just free for years. And the main feature stayed the same. Good thing I still have another phone with an older version, that i won't "update".

Will rate it higher once the description matches the app, it says it does 1oz gold britannia coins but there not on the list, only the 1oz silver britannia.

It wasn't clear that this app only gives 10 free pings. After that, you have to pay.

Used to be free and accurate. Now, can't authenticate any legitimate coin, forcing you to pay to upgrade for accurate results. Used to rely on it, now just terrible AND they want you to pay for it Edit: nice canned response, developer. doesn't change the fact that the app won't accurately detect unless you pay (which is actually zero free pings), and it may be a small price to pay, but why should I pay it to you? Edit: except it isn't improving, and you're asking too much.

They now charge money for you to use the app. Trash. I'll use a different app that isn't greedy. Plus, they tell you to submit coins that are not on the list, and then they ignore your submissions.
