It's a full old-fashioned pirate game similar to the PC games that are low in cost, you can trade and manage ship upgrades. Be a pirate or a trader, a simulator you're likely to enjoy.

This is literally the perfect pirate role play game. You can fight for the British, Danish (one port), or the Portuguese who don't even have a starting port. You can base you build on combat or trading (pirating is obviously more fun and better). Literally a must get.

Apprentice is impossible, yes, I said that. They send Pirate warships that take all your food and items. And it turns out that they're OVERPOWERED. Also, if you have a MASSIVE ship and big army, but the leader of a pirate pinnacle beats you, say goodbye to your haul! And maybe your LIFE. And your people want at LEAST 75% of your plunder. So, no repairs, upgrades, or new ships unless you spend 5 days on one game.

The game lacks logic, I had reached a rank of rear admiral and basically.... I'm still a nobody, I can't borrow a troop, can't borrow a ship, can't borrow a navy. Historically speaking, in port Royal, privateering worked differently such that when you call for help on a governor as long as the cause was good for the state, and you reported accordingly, they could lend you a hand on blocking trade routes on a port or just help you attack a port, but in this game, you attack with only your crew
