Best Emulator by far. Especially if you get the pro version. Easy to customize Background And Bottons and achievements work flawlessly unlike retroarch tha you have to log in every time. Only thing retroarch mgba has over this is the Super Game Boy rarely works on pizza boy even when forcing it to choose that. Tried all kinda settings and won't get it to work on Super game boy Enhanced games. Also, lack of transparent touch buttons, so they don't obscure the custom Background

"Let me guess, you need more?" This emulator has it all (even the pro version is not necessary imo). Ranging from customization, performance, size and the lack of ads. All of these makes it the best GBC emulator on the Play store. The only negative thing I would only consider saying is it being proprietary - which might not make sense since it's for profit. But other programs such as Sprite (sprite editor) have their source code available despite making decent amount of money for the devs.

Put 5 hours into Pokémon, saved the game several times, went to load the game today and all progress have gone. Uninstalled straight away.

Doesn't work. Tried roms from multiple sites, even did research to find the most trusted and reputable rom sites to source from. Got the same result every time: a frozen pixelated mush of colors appears on the emulator window screen with no sound or movement. The app just won't load any .gba file properly. I'm looking to purchase a pro version emulator but I gotta see that it works at least before buying. Running on a Galaxy A53 with Android OS 14. Happy to change the rating if anything changes.

Loses save files and save states, and the save folders are invisible to my native file browser. Unusable.
