Comments on Floor Plan Creator for Android

★★★★★ Amy Stroup · Aug 28, 2026

I downloaded this app (the free version) a few years ago, and have had so much FUN with it! It was easy to draw out a floor plan for my whole house, then make a copy and try altering it in various ways to make our homework better for us. It's helped me plan several projects! Main drawback is: the default items in the library are not accurate. Make sure you go and measure the actual appliance before designing an entire bathroom around a toilet that is too small!

Good very useful app! Can you add features like roofing styles?

I have had a good experience using this app and purchased the full version. I have rated it 4/5 for the reasons below which I am requesting if improvements can be made; 👉🏿 the furniture alignment angles are rigid. If the rooms are created a some angles the furniture doesn't align. 👉🏿 It doesn't have an option for roofs. Any possibility of adding that? 👉🏿 there's no flexibility on window height. Can that be added? 👉🏿 the stairs go straight into the 1st floor. H Thanks

I wanted a simple square room. Sounds easy right? No. There is Nowhere to type the wall measurement. The dimensions show on the walls but tapping them does NOTHING. No keyboard, no edit box, no input field. Double tap, long press - nothing. You're forced to drag the little white circles and try to guess the size, which is impossible to do precisely even when zoomed in. It keeps snapping to the wrong size. For a floor plan app, not being able to type an exact wall length is a basic failure.

Cool app, but kinda pathetic that you can't even simply export your plan as an image without paying, I can get behind cloud saving etc., but that's just greedy. Thankfully, I'm only using this to help plan out my bedroom, won't be using again after that; especially since you can't even so much as screenshot your plan, I will not cough up money for the freedom to do what I want with the room plan I designed, thank you.
