Planetary Attunement: Hours

Planetary Attunement calculates the planetary hours for your location and pairs the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn with seven clearly labelled modern contemplations.
Enter your coordinates and time zone by hand, and the app works out the unequal hours of daylight and night, offline.

PLANETARY HOURS
Results depend on the coordinates and time zone you enter. Near the poles, polar day or night may leave no complete planetary-hour cycle. Optional planetary reminders are available; Android battery restrictions can delay them.

SEVEN PRACTICES, CAREFULLY SOURCED
Each planet has its own reflective practice. Historical source notes keep Renaissance planetary correspondences and late-antique theurgy distinct, and neither is presented as one universal ritual system. What is documented is kept apart from what is modern adaptation.

IN EVERY PRACTICE
• Sessions from 1 to 60 minutes, with stage-by-stage countdowns
• Original four-stage ambient sound, with volume control and mute
• Pause, resume or end, and mark a moment
• A distinct visual practice space with no flashing effects

YOUR JOURNAL
Sessions are recorded automatically. Add and edit reflections in a private journal on your device, and export it as JSON when you like.

Closing the practice screen or the app stops the sound. Timers keep counting in normal background use, and if Android interrupts the app, your session reopens paused at the latest checkpoint.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
No account, advertising, analytics, microphone access or internet permission. No device-location permission either: you type in your coordinates yourself. Source links open in your browser only when selected. Text follows your Android size settings.

Planetary Attunement supports historical study and personal contemplation. It does not promise contact, divination accuracy, initiation, healing or any other guaranteed outcome.
