Great continuation of the Tim Wiseman 90s classic VGA Planets. Galactic-scale growth and conquest. Lots of depth to the app interface that takes a while to discover. Every race has unique ships and abilities, and planning is the key skill. The logistics dimension is a great separator of skill, but I wish there were some scripting ability, as turns can be so long that one can plan then forget next turn what the plan was.

I understand people not being a fan of the Tutorial...but it's a tutorial and doesn't represent the Planets NU true depth, or addictiveness. The game originates from a version in the 1990s...well before the Play Store or IOS or Android was even around and has stood the test of time because of a great international community and because the game itself is the DEEPEST game out there. I have played them ALL. It is ok to start with mobile OS but the experience opens up when you switch to PC!!!!!!!!

Probably a good game, if you understand the mechanics. But the tutorial just tells you to do something, but not how. Good luck trying to figure it out on your own. I tried to intercept the transport ship until it vanished. No feedback as to what happened. The tutorial just keeps going even after it's impossible to reach the objective. Loop of useless. UNPLAYABLE.
