Auto recenter will not work most of the time but overall best ui in any vr app. Especially in Carboard Vr apps

10/5 Stars. Well Done to the team for creating the near perfect Video Player, it has my most sought after feature of calibration to any position instead of horizon only, plus perfect support for DLNA, SMB shares on the local network as well. Please share a donate link, to show my appreciation. One issue is that it does not support usb keyboard/trackpad combo that I have, on Amazon it is called the COOLCOLD mini wireless keyboard with trackpad. If you could add support for these.

Fantastic VR viewer. The best I found. However, I think the fish-eye mode stopped working in the latest version, I'm sure it used to work. I can hear the audio playing, but the display is blank. Non fish-eye videos work great.

One of the few left back good vr app for cardboard vr.

★☆☆☆☆ E J · Nov 8, 2025

It is not possible to watch VR videos in this app because the two images lose alignment when you close the progress bar. This means you can only watch the video in flat mono like an ordinary non-3d video.

★★☆☆☆ Jay · Jun 7, 2026

I don't think is using hardware decoding, it struggles to play 8K H.265 and 4K AV1 on an S24 Plus. Also, I don't get why you need to be centering the video almost every 40 seconds. Why the video doesn't remains where I centered it. And it definitely needs a vertical centering. Most of the time you need to look down because you can't center the video vertically. Or else you are required to move always the height to the lowest possible area.

★★☆☆☆ T · Feb 9, 2026

The bright pink menu button on the left side of the screen can't be removed which ruins the experience. The UI is counter-intuitive and the non-VR mode controls are useless because they use a controller overlay instead of letting you tap the touchscreen. Besides, that it's an okay app. I like that I can basically use a crazy cheap, ultraportable setup to watch films in VR lying down in bed. This is also one of the very few apps that doesn't request full access to all your files to function.
