The Pod Point app serves all your public, workplace or home charge needs – all in one place.
With the Pod Point app, you can: - Top up your EV while shopping or at the office - Track your charging activity and energy consumption, both at home and on our public charging network in the stats tab - Manage your power at home through solar or the grid - Take advantage of low tariff hours by setting schedules
Remember, you can still collect Clubcard points when charging with us. Simply connect your Tesco Clubcard in the app to collect 1 Tesco Clubcard point for every £1 spent on charging using a Pod Point charger at Tesco stores.

Just been to Tesco and into our local town while I put my car on charge with Pod Point, it is so easy to do, and after getting back to my car it was 3/4 full which is good for me. And it will last me all week until my next shopping trip.

App works well but is it possible to display the percentage charge of the battery of the car and the amount of current that the car is charging at. My car doesn't have an app so if we could charge to a certain percentage rather than just a timer using the pod point app then that would be great.

Issues with android 15 ? Since updating my Google Pixel 6 from android 14 to 15 I can no longer set the hours and minutes when I try to "charge now" Tried the app on a Samsung phone running android 14 & it's fine, also on an old Samsung S7 = fine. Otherwise, the app is ok, it's "functional". Anyone else having this android issue since updating ?, update 2026, all seems to be running smoothly now, no issues with the app, long may it continue that way👍. Rating increased from 3 to 4 stars.

Excellent no nonsense app, does what it says on the tin. I mainly use it with Tesco pod point chargers, and it has been 100% reliable. I did try to use Zap map which was a bit of a nightmare, and it never seemed to communicate properly with pod point chargers.

Downloaded the app, created an account and deposited money. Can't see in the app the pod chargers located at my local Tesco. Only shows 1 out of 4 charging units. Not helpful as no customer service to help

Awful product: Charging trips the whole time so car does not charge and charges straightaway when plugged in even if set up to charge at night (expensive error). It is so bad I just bought a petrol car rather than face Pod Point hell. AVOID THIS MAKE!

App is unresponsive. Nothing happens when you click "Confirm Charge", it'll sometimes tell you it's charging, when it isn't. The "how to use this charger" screen is blank. Wasted my time going back to the car to plug it back in. Couldn't charge at all.
