A good app for me. I have to set up my mount every time I use it. I have no polar scope, but the daytime alignment is extremely well-thought-out. Once I set up my mount, I just put smartphone in my homemade holder and center the crosshairs. On a good sky I recheck it, and it is impressed with its accuracy. One niggle was I only found the instructions by accident, a link would be good.

Trying to polar align my telescope in the Southern Hemisphere was a nightmare. This app solved everything. Press a button and boom. Instant alignment. Just attach the phone to the mount and line up the cross that simple. Worth every penny. Edit: I just read from the Dev that people are giving this a bad review because the compass don't work? As they mentioned this is because your phone is junk and hasn't got the built-in functions needed for this app. Go by my review people. This app is gold!!

I don't have a clear view of Polaris from my house, and using the beta feature day align seems to work really well. Using it, I can easily get tracked exposures of a minute without star trails. About as good as I could ask for without an actual polar alignment. The other features work well, pretty much all you should need to achieve alignment. One small gripe would be that the UI is not the slickest, but it does what it advertises well. Checked against an actual compass, and it was spot on.

I am using this app on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. The S20 has a built-in compass that is very accurate. I also have a Garmin GPS digital compass that points to exactly the same north that the compass built into my phone does. This app's compass is at least 15° off and is obviously not accessing the built-in compass on my phone. How about either fixing your app and add in all the neat stuff found in the iPhone version. Very, very disappointed.
