Prantik Phase 1

Prantik phase1 is a mobile app devised for the interest of members of the Thakurpukr Co-operative
Housing Society, phase-1. It is a housing society of 52 four storied building spreading over 13.5 acra
of land and comprising of 832 flats within it. An elected body consisting of 15 Board of Directors is
there to provide day to day services like drinking water, waste management, up keeping of common
areas, street light, security etc. to the members. The members have to pay monthly maintenance
charge for this purpose. Now, members have to come to the Society office to pay monthly
maintenance and other charges and have to wait long time as the entire system is running
manually. Moreover, the office timing of the society is from 06.00 pm to 08.30 pm, so many
members could not pay their monthly charges in time and have to pay late fine as penalty. A no. of
members is staying outside Kolkata and there is considerable no. of members who are senior
citizen age group who also could not pay their monthly charges regularly. So, the Board of Directors
thinks to devise some system which will ease the existing procedure of payment of monthly
maintenance charges.
As a result Prantik phase1 mobile app is developed. It is basically designed for payment of monthly
maintenance and other charges by the members from their smart phone. With this app, they can
transfer their payable amount within a minute from anywhere and get the receipt also.
In addition to that, the members can also lodge their complaints regarding the services rendered by
the Society through this app which will also save their time.
