Description
This is an Unique app to show your heart beat on the screen. This app measures heart beat automatically, when you place your index finger on the camera.
For precise measurements: It is preferable to use a high end mobile phone/tablet with flash light. Sit in a rested position. Keep your finger on the camera and not on the flashlight. Try to keep your finger still and do not shake the device, while taking the measurement.
Use the app in a bright environment, when flash light is not available. Provide ample lighting to pass through your fingers.
It is possible to take readings using the front camera for Tablet devices.

Great app I am actually surprised how well this works on my (2012) Nexus 7, and how easy it is to use. It works perfectly near a sunlit window, under a table lamp, or with a flashlight. The Nexus doesn't have a flash, so the external source is required. Had about a one minute learning curve until I figured out just how to place my finger and how hard to press, and after that no issues. Great concept and good job!

Best with little footprint Other heartrate apps are so huge... 14mb, what for?! This one is under 1mb and I love it. I've never had any problems with it and I use it every day. Yes, it is accurate--more accurate than you counting your pulse while timing. It works by detecting the change in color on screen (via your camera). The reason this works is because your pulse will cause a shift in blood through your finger. It's nearly the same as the scanner you clip on your finger at the doctor's. Don't listen to the tards saying it's fake.

Asus Nexus 7 I've just been sat there for ages while it is 'DETECTING PULSE'.... People say its good on the Nexus 7 but I find that hard to believe. I'm sure this would be good though, if it worked!

Measures BPM? It measures only heart beat. Misleading.

Not accurate, always give a high bpm. Very difficult to detect my pulse. The idea of tips is good. Hope this app will improve :)
